Role Impact

As an Accountant at Image Mobiles and Computers, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your work will directly support strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial data and insights, enabling us to grow sustainably while delivering value to our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to track inventory and cost efficiency.
• Utilize accounting software to streamline reporting and record-keeping tasks.

Required Skills

• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, reporting, and tax regulations.
• Soft Skills:
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. - MCOM
• Additional certifications such as CA-Inter, CPA, or CMA (preferred but not mandatory).

Past Experience

• 0–5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Experience in a retail or electronics environment is an added advantage.
• Exposure to inventory accounting or point-of-sale (POS) financial systems will be beneficial.
